If he plays in a tenth game, then this’ll count as year one of his three-year entry-level contract. And that, above all else, is why you could see Pastrnak spend some more time in the minors.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if he plays AHL it still burns a year off his ELC, ANY American pro hockey counts (NHL, AHL, ECHL), only Europe/juniors won't burn a year.

he's no Bovat
and to the poster. about the games...the AHL does. not burn a year from his ELC.
I have been wrong before but Vancouver has Shink in the A and it is not affecting his ELC. Sure there are others. |

Idk if there's any weight to the Silfverberg rumor, but it makes me wonder why on earth PC wouldn't have been able to swing a Boychuk for Silf+ or even DSP+. Talk about a move that would benefit both teams |

It was Yakupov yesterday, Silfverberg today. Will probably be Rick Nash tomorrow. You never know. |

No, there's some weird Swedish/AHL transfer rule that basically allows him to play the year with Providence and not have it count as a year of his entry-level deal. |

Hard to give up a 24 year old kid for a UFA one year rental. |

That is pretty weird.....yet he's getting paid an AHL salary by the Bruins? Or is he on loan from his SEL team? |

It was explained to me once back in September, and even then, it went over my head. I'll see if I can get Peter Chiarelli to make an account on here. |
